About us

We partner with management teams to bring the leverage of software/AI to established operating businesses.

We engage only at the C-suite and board level, deeply understanding the economic machine of the business, working with management to identify, validate, and deploy software/AI tooling against the most promising value-creation levers.

We take ownership positions in a subset of opportunities, but we always operate as owners. We are not a vendor — we deploy our engineering team only against projects we believe have value-creation potential. When we do engage, we work until we achieve measurable results.

Our team brings deep technical and industry-specific experience across investing and operational transformation — including General Atlantic, Atlas Holdings, and 8VC — and across building software, data infrastructure, and applied AI at scale.

We've worked with 10+ enterprises across manufacturing, supply chain & distribution, healthcare, and financial services. In total, these businesses represent more than 7,000 employees and generate more than $5 billion in revenue.

Founding principles

Software and AI will reshape every industry, creating new sources of revenue, operating leverage, and competitive advantage.

This is not a new trend. AI is accelerating and broadening what software began decades prior. Many success stories already exist.

In these success stories, we see three constants:

  1. Established operating businesses have an advantage - Building software/AI to serve a business takes months; building the business takes years. Scale compounds.
  2. Business fundamentals are unchanged - Clear strategy, capital allocation, focused execution, and continuous improvement remain first priorities. Software/AI is an accelerant, not a replacement.
  3. Technical and domain expertise must co-exist - Effective solution-engineering requires high-quality technical talent that deeply understands the business and owns the business outcome.

We founded Andros in 2024 on these principles.
